The Auto Detailers will travel to customer homes, workplaces, or other approved locations. Service areas commonly include major suburbs, residential areas, and commercial zones. Travel distance may affect booking availability or travel fees depending on location. Customers outside standard service areas can often request custom bookings depending on schedule availability. Mobile detailing services can typically be booked online, by phone, or through social media messaging. Most bookings require basic vehicle information such as size, condition, location, and preferred service type. Some services may provide quotes based on photos or inspection. Booking in advance is recommended, especially during busy seasons or holiday periods. Many customers schedule future maintenance appointments at the time of service to maintain availability.

The Auto Detailers are fully self-contained and can bring their own water and power supply if needed. This allows detailing to be completed at homes, apartments, workplaces, and commercial locations. In some cases, access to power or water can help speed up the process, but it is not always required. Self-contained setups are especially useful for customers living in units, offices, or locations without direct outdoor connections.

Mobile detailing time depends on the vehicle size, condition, and the level of service selected. A maintenance detail typically takes between 1.5 to 2.5 hours, while a standard full detail may take 3 to 5 hours. Paint correction or ceramic coating services can take significantly longer, sometimes a full day or multiple days depending on paint condition. On the Gold Coast, environmental factors such as salt air, sand, UV exposure, and water spotting can increase the time required to properly clean and protect a vehicle.

In order to become a maintenance customer at The Auto Detailers, we first require AT LEAST a Mini Detail, but Ideally a Pre-Sale Detail to ensure we are bringing the vehicle back to a like-new, maintainable condition.
